Light as a feather, yet totally windproof, our new UPWIND JACKET is an ultra-lightweight wind shell with an extremely compact pack size.

It weighs just 115 g (size M) and takes up so little space that it will even fit in a pants pocket. Maximum functionality in a minimal package!

The UPWIND packs away small in its own chest pocket (one of three useful pockets). The high-vis reflective logos on the front, back and left sleeve are a very practical detail, particularly if you wear the jacket for biking.

The ultra-lightweight fabric is so densely woven that is windproof. It is also water repellent, very soft and supple and tear resistant in spite of its weight, thanks to the mini-ripstop construction.

Whenever the kit list calls for a lightweight, back-up wind shell, this is the one you should take with you.

Needed a new coat for the winter season. I am glad I bought this because so far it's been a perfect buy. I have been snow shoeing, skiing, sledding, tubing, and snowball fighting and no complaints so far. The coat fits great, keeps me warm and dry, many pockets to place things, adjustable waistband if needed, detachable hood, and so far no tarring of seams of any kind. I have been kind of rough with this coat after reading some of the reviews to see and so far nothing has happened. I will keep this updated if anything happens but so far I have been pleased with this purchase.
