First off, the fabric blocks a minimum of 97.5 % of UVA and UVB radiation. Secondly, the jacket is very light and airy (check out the air vents on the back), which means it's a great alternative to a long sleeved shirt.

Additional attributes are the good freedom of movement provided by the active stretch fabric on the back and sides, and the rapid drying performance of the two fabrics used.

I've been out in the pouring rain in Florida while wearing this jacket and stayed dry. My phone survived zipped up in one of the front pockets too. I like that the inside is mesh lined because it gets so hot and muggy here, but this jacket is pretty lightweight. Therefore it gets 5 stars for meeting all of my expectations of a functional rain jacket.

Got this for my husband. i normally get him an extra large. he is short with an average build. 5'5 170lbs. SOLID! we got an extra large and it fit awsome for a work jacket. very roomy so hoodies and undergarments fit comfortably underneath. well made. very durable and warm. the length hts my husband below the wait but as said he his short. it worked perfectly for my guy.
